Written Communication

Throughout history and even more so in the present with the heightened use of e-mail, the written word is very important. In a typical high school setting students are required only to write in an English class. At New Tech High students are required to write for each of their classes having to write up the information gathered in math and science to writing essays and projects for history.

I feel that my senior year my writing has flourished becuase I finally cared about what I was writing about. This shows in the scores I have recieved on some of my papers.

The first paper is a paper I wrote on Corporate Welfare and I put a lot of effort into this paper and it paid off when I recieved a 100% on it. To view the paper click here. After reading my paper you may view my rubric with my score here.

The second paper I am including is my personl reflective essay for my senior project. This paper is a look into my past as a student. I feel this paper represents me as a writer well. To view the paper click here. To view the rubric click here.
