mmMy name is Jewel Geronimo. I was born on April 29, 1989. I am now part of this very unique and cumulative student body here in New Technology High school . I was actually born in the Philippines and moved to America when I was about 6 months old. I have been raised all my life in Vallejo , California . I transferred to New Technology High from Vintage High of Napa. I came during my third year in high school transferring schools. I came as a junior and now a senior. I was very hesitant to come here because of its very different Environment. Not only the teachers and staff but the peer support changed those thoughts. Here in New Tech though it may sometimes be misled has a very well-bonded environment. Everyone knows everyone. Because of this environment it has made me like and adapt to New Tech very well. The reason I stress my school environment it's because of its tactics to prepare for the further business world. In the business world of today you have to be able to collaborate and adapt well with people you don't know or may have just met. This is what I have learned here.
mmMy goal in life and preceding my New Tech life is to become well adapted to the more technologically advanced college life and business world. I have become a more mature and secure with my social skills. Though I am being well-prepared now I am still becoming better equipped technology wise.
