Career Preparation encompasses all the skills you need to graduate and enter the work field as a well adjusted employee and hopefully adult. Some of these skills are oral skills, time management skills, people skills, collaboration skills, and other special skills that pertain to your field of choice.
To be fully proficient in the deparment of career preperation you should be flexible, you should have leadership qualities, a knowledge of the work force you plan to enter, and a knowledge of your skills.
I have chosen two pieces that exemplify my skills in the Career Preparation section. The first is a Business Plan I wrote up for a mock nursery business, for Political Studies. It demonstrates professionalism as well as knowledge of career preparation by demonstrating my ability to understand how a business works. My second example is a project for Political Studies called "Where are they now" in which we were asked to produce a body of work for a future employer as if we were trying to get a job, at some point about 15 years from now. It demonstrates career prep by showing my future plans, how I plan to reach these plans, and also my ability to plan for a career in business.
