Citizenship and Ethics is one of the key learning outcomes that make New Tech high different from other public high schools. Much of the kids at New Tech know of good Citizenship and Ethics because they are taught about it here. This learning outcome is another one that is very important to New Tech High's culture and atmosphere.
Example:
Obviously a perfect example for this learning outcome would be the 20 hours of community service that we are required to have in order to graduate. I spent my 20 hours helping children at the Boys & Girls Club with their homework and it was a very fun experience. I also helped children in our community with my internship program because I was a counselor at a week long summer camp. I got to work with kids on all different levels and I really feel that it strengthened my abilities in Citizenship and Ethics.
