Letter of Reccomendation #1
To Whom it May Concern:
It is my pleasure to write this letter of recommendation for Kaydin Smith. I have now know and taught Kaydin for two years at New Technology High School . I first met him in our American Studies class last year, in the Fall of ‘06. Kaydin, as our entire Junior class last year, was new to our school. At New Tech we have very specific requirements of all of our students. One of these is collaboration. Kaydin was able to work well with his peers on projects and in preparation for presentations, and always scored quite highly on his collaboration evaluations.
Most recently, I have had Kaydin in my History Through Film and Literature class. It is here that I have really seen the potential that lies within Kaydin. I've always enjoyed his journals, written in reflection to the many films we have seen. Some of these films have been classic epic historical dramas, and others have been old black and white foreign films that require much of any audience, no less a room full of high school students. Kaydin has always had great insight into these films, offering the ability to delve into the depths of what makes each of them so moving and important among the plethora of historical films.
It is my understanding that Kaydin wishes to pursue a career as a computer technician, as I've read about in his portfolio, another requirement of all students here at New Tech. I feel, at a time when so many students are striving to find what they wish to do, it is refreshing to find someone so focused and ready to continue on his career path. I strongly recommend him to any institution or employment that might allow him to do so, as I am sure he will be an asset to any and all. Given an opportunity to demonstrate his determination and follow-through, I am sure you will find the same.
Yours Sincerely,
Stephen Federico
