Written Communication

Written communication is a crucial learning outcome that New Tech High excercises thoroughly. This learning outcome is important because you need to be able to communicate precisely and clearly through text. If not, then no one will be able to clearly understand what you are saying when you aren't there to tell them. Writing clearly is almost as important as talking clearly; people need to be able to understand you either way.

Example:

Political Speech --- This was a political speech that I had to write for a project in Political Studies. For this paper we chose our audience, speaker and topic out of a jar, then just go with it. My speaker was Hillary Clinton, my audience was the Immigration Consultants and my topic concerned her being a good diplomat. My group felt I did so well on this speech that they chose me for the speech writer role in this project.
