Introduction

Oral Communication skills are a great thing to have when entering New Tech. When entering a career field it is almost dier.

All high schools require four years of an english or literature class. Written Communication is extremely important in these classes. Essays, reflections, summaries, and journals are only a few examples of the broad spectrum in New Tech's examples of Written Communication.

 
Example 1

Written Communication: This rubric is from an assignment we had to create a small magazine based on the New York Times Up Front political magazine for teens.

 
Example 2 Oral Communication: This is the power-point I made to inform people of the dangers of child soldiers. This project was my favorite all senior year because I did a lot of research and became really touched by all the child soldiers I read about. I presented this entire power-point in front of my entire class all by myself.
