The modern world has become a fast paced race for success. It is imperative that the ever learning business man of the future be able to adapt quickly to new material and be able to understand new concepts with lightning reflexes. At the rate that technology is developing it is crucial for someone in the computer science industry to be able to understand and apply new information and techniques very quickly and accurately.

Over the past year my ability to absorb new concepts and master old ones has been exemplified by my taking political studies and calculus. In political studies I have encountered more new information that I have in any other single class. Being able to assimilate this information and effectively apply it over the course of the project has been a key part of my success in the class. Taking calculus at the community college has been an eye opening experience for me with regards to the increased pace of learning that is required of a college student. The fast pace combined with the unique concepts of calculus have proven to be quite the challenge and joy, as well as an effective display of my ability to assimilate and apply new concepts.

I have attached a calculus test as well as a final quiz on the book Animal Farm. I did very well on both tests, showing my ability to apply new concepts in a quantitative medium.
