Citizenship and Ethtics is a big part of life. It involves you and others, and how you act which leaves a lasting impression.

An example where I showed citizenship is:

Almost every Christmas for the past 4 years I have gone to the Boys and Girls club in Los Angeles and volunteered to help wrap gifts. I like doing it because helping others makes me happy and it gives me a sense of satisfaction that can only be found through helping others. I also used to go with my old school for the Adopt-A-Family program, which went to poor places to give gifts to needy families. Although it was hard to see people in such a state, seeing how they reacted to acts of kindness was very fullfilling and talking to the boys and girls my age made me realize how much we take things for granted. Another thing I used to do is go to help people at my church, we went to camps with people who were less fortunate and/or depressed and made them feel better, we would talk and help those in need, and I know it truly made a difference not only in another persons life but in mine.
