What is Technology Literacy and why is it important?

Technology Literacy is the ability to use programs on computers such as Microsoft Word, Power Point, Data Studio, Math GV, Adobe Photoshop, and Macromedia Dreamweaver well, if not easily. It is important to become familiar with different technologies because technology is the future and the better my grasp on it now the easier it will be to adapt to the continually advancing technology in the business world.


Technology Literacy Example 1

This is a link to one of my Algebra 2 tests that I took Junior year. We were given the option to create a digital version of the test along with the writen version for some extra credit. This document shows my skills using advanced functions of Microsoft Word such as the Equation Editor function. I created the graph in Math GV and all of the 9 pages of math work describe everything I could find out about that graph.

This is one of my homework assignments for my NVC Art 260 class. The assignment was to restore a photo of our choice. The photo on the left is the orginal photo that I scaned and the one on the right is my digitally restored version.
