Written Communication is the ability to express your views and ideas effectively through paper or on the computer. It is important skill because in the business world you need to be able to write clearly. If you cannot make your objectives, and your plan to achieve them, easy to understand no one will give your work a second glance.
This is a link to my outline of a short story entitled "Shattered Dreams" that I was writing for my American Studies course during our 'Coming to America' project. I believe that this is a good example of Written Communication because it shows that I can organize my thoughts effectively on paper and present them in a orderly fashion that is easy to understand. My example for Career Preperation is my english project entitled Great American Author from my Junior year. I feel that this is a really great example because it shows a variety of skills that all have importance in the work place. It shows my writing skills (the papers on Bradbury), organization skills (set up of information), critical thinking skills (my analiysis of Fahrenhiet 451), research skills (the biography on Bradbury), and technolugy skills (the website its self).
