Collaboration

Collaboration is the work effort that you put into your group. The time and effort that you put into making sure you get a good grade that everybody that needs help is getting help. Collaboration is the communication between your group and it is being a good group member that listens to the problems, and then tries to fix them.

This is one example of collaboration that was in my physics class when we were working on circuits and my entire group had to make different models for different things. After each trial run we had each person set it up all over again so that they can have a chance. What makes this good for collaboration is that we really paid attention to each other and what they were doing and if they needed help. This is a picture of one of the circuits, to prove that we were actually putting it together. Picture, here is our rubric for our group work as well.

A second example of collaboration would be from my senior year our first project called a Fairy Tale. This was a good collaboration because I was a group leader and i was very aware of what everybody wanted in the group. Also in my advisory my teacher was talking to us about caring about the people and not just about the task, this project was all about making a script to reflect a certain economic concept. So instead of one person writing the script we all got together so that nobody would be uncomfortable with their lines and so that people really understood the story instead of just being given this one script.
