Personal Statement

 

George Bernard Shaw once said "There are two tragedies in life. One is to lose your heart's desire. The other is to gain it" He is right. Being in high school you have a lot of pressure on you to find what you want to do, to make sure that you keep up in all your work, all to find your hearts desire.

My Name is Tracy Juanita Cochran I am a senior at New Technology High School . I was a dancer for eleven years of my life; this is the first year I'm not dancing. I have had two jobs in my life; the first was working at Togo 's and Baskin Robins where I was a manager. My second job, I still have, I am a cashier at Filippi's Pizza Grotto, and this job is more like a family somewhere you get comfortable.

I have a very large family my mom has 8 brothers one of them has past away, my mother was also part of a foster family and from that I have 2 uncles and one aunt that we are still in constant contact with. My dad only has one sister but the rest of the family seems to be getting bigger. At home family consists of my mom: Madonna my dad: Barry, and my older sister: Carol and me. We are a very close family.

To describe myself I would have to say I am cautious, careful, caring, sweet, and humble. I am a very careful person because I realize that all of my actions have consequences and I care about what those are. I don't like to brag about anything I like to be happy and the people that care about me I will tell them my good news but for everyone else it doesn't do me good to rub it in.

My hearts desire is to be happy, I am.

 

My Goals for the future:

In the next few years I will be attending the Napa Valley Junior College . I will transfer to a four year college to then major in mathematics. I would like to become a high school math teacher and become a college professor. I would also like to minor in dance or athletics because I feel that physical fitness is very important and I have a passion for dance.
