Technology Literacy
| Introduction | Technology Literacy is another very important skill to have, both in education and the workplace. If one is not literate in current technologies, they cannot communicate with others via network or intranet, and they cannot utilize the tools available to them to learn or work more efficiently. Since the invention of the personal computer, the efficiency of the average worker has been increased many times, and if one cannot harness this effective tool, then they are missing a large part of what it takes to make it in the real world. |
| Example 1 | This is an example of a piece of work I did that required a large amount of technology literacy, and a large amount of critical thinking as well. This Publisher book helped me to extend my knowledge of Office Suite programs. |
| Example 2 | This is an example of a Microsoft PowerPoint project that my group and I completed for American Studies. This PowerPoint took a degree of Tech Literacy, if only because of the advanced macro animations contained within it. |
