My name is Michelle Lee Hullquist I am known by many different names; Shell, Shellby, Shelly, Shell-Face, Hellquest, Shelly-Pants & Shell-Fish.

This portfolio was created to help you see what I hope to accomplish in the near future. I would love to persue Photography after highschool. I've been interested in Photography for about four years now, and I know that this interest will not fade in the coming years. I hope to possibly use this portfolio as a sort-of tool to get my work out in the world after i graduate from New Tech.

I was born premature [4 lbs] in Vallejo at Kaiser Permanente, but I have lived in Napa my entire life. I attended Shearer Elementery, Redwood Junior High, Vintage High, & New Technology High, where I currently reside. After being at Vintage High for two years, I had come to the realazation that a normal highschool simply could not fullfill my personal requirements. Shortly after arriving at new tech. I became fascinated in photography. I bought myself a digital camera, and began shooting everything.

In my first Semester of Junior year I took an Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop course. This got me ready for what I really wanted to do, take and manipulate photographs. During my first semester of senior year I decided to take a film photography B&W course at the Napa Community College. There, I was taught how to develop film in a lab and I learned how to tone and fix a flawed photo. This class made me realize what I took for granted in digital. In the next stages of my life, I hope to grow in my photographic knowledge, and abilities. In the next stages of my life, I hope to grow in my photographic knowledge, and abilities.
