So as fate has it, I was sitting on a trampoline overlooking a magnificent vew of the city. Instead of the tranquility expected with theses situations, there was fanfare and chaos all over town. Today was the 4th of July and everyone was excited. They were all ready for the sun to set and fireworks to begin. To me, this sunset was a magical moment because for once, there was someone else next to me who I can share it with. This sunset was more memorable than lighting up fireworks or playing with sparklers. For me, it was a moment when time stopped and love surrounded me all around. I thank God for a moment like that, a moment that's only seen in the movies.
I chose the image above to remember that moment and also to represent my life so far throughout this portfolio. The sun is setting on one chapter in my life, but come the next morning, or even before then, I will be soaring above all the obstacles in my way and pursuing my dreams.
