Written Communication

Home
Introduction Written Communication is a communication by means of written symbols.
Example 1
Dust Bowl. This shows a brief-history about the people who lived in the middle of the United States during the time of the Great Depression. People called it Dust Bowl, because it was a land of dust storms and famines that transformed all of their towns and cities into old, abandoned wastelands. It was really horrible in those days. It was also related two novels (Of Mice & Men and The Grapes of Wrath) by the most famous author in the 1930s, John Steinbeck. In this learning outcome, I used parentheses, brackets, italics, and quotation marks to use titles and citations of people of how terrible they felt after the storm. I used this in American Studies.
Example 2
Tuskegee Airmen of WWII. This shows a history of the African-American airmen who served to be as the Tuskegee Airmen during World War II. It talks about how hard they worked fought with the black military against Adolf Hitler and his allies in all over Europe and Asia. This also shows how Americans feel about the African-Americans that are in the non-violent battle of "racism". I used parentheses, brackets, and quotation marks. I used this in American Studies.
