Citizenship and Ethics is yet another widely applicable curricular skill as it's used in everyday life - speaking to an audience,
having a conversation with someone, or performing a simple good deed such as picking up a piece of trash off the ground.
At Tech, and the community project involved with it, I've learned to work with pretty much anybody and to treat the people I work with, with understanding.
Tech Lends a Hand
In "Tech Lends a Hand", all of New Tech's advisories group together and go out into the community to perform a wide variety of services such as cleaning up an animal shelter,
caring for veterans, or gardening foliage for a school.
La Strada Dell'Arte
La Strada is another community outreach by New Tech High. La Strada Dell'Arte is a chalk art festival design to attract and entertain members of the community
and to raise money for clubs back at the school.
