Curricular Literacy is the degree in which the student retains the content of the classes in which they learn that content in.
In any academic field, or in any field that requires education, it's top priority to retain the information that's needed to perform well.
Not to mention, any kind of information that's retained provides enrichment to life, sometimes in unexpected ways.
