Oral Communication is basically exactly what it means: communicating orally. This is an essential task, especially in terms of presenting to a large audience. At Tech, we've performed our fair share of presentations, and through those, I feel I've become more effective at communicating information to an audience.

Nick Monologue

This monologue was written by me for a play our group wrote based on the novel "The Great Gatsby". In my scene, I was to speak a monologue that reflected my assigned character's qualities. After what I thought was a nervous delivery, I was awarded the "Best Nick Monologue" certificate in class for acting in our group's play.

Truman Capote Presentation

This Truman Capote presentation was created for an American Studies project to briefly cover the history of the 1950s and the life of Great American Author Truman Capote. I've added this project to the "Oral Communication" section because it was one of the few projects where our group finally got to implement a mostly-oral presentation with very little text on-slide.
