Technology Literacy is obviously a large factor at
New Tech, since our entire school model is based on Technology. Even so, technology literacy is a skill
that's applicable to almost any job including many more jobs in the future that will implement some sort of new
machinery or software. In today's modern day and age, it's important to have some degree of technology literacy in order
to be accepted in the working force.
For as long as I've been at Tech, I felt I've had an exposure to a wide variety of technology,
especially in the fields of graphics and film. In addition, I've become entirely used to communicating with people
through software and providing tech support service through e-mail.
Truman Capote Website
During our "Great American Author of the 1950s" American Studies project, we were required to make a multimedia presentation
on the author of our chosen book. Since I selected Breakfast at Tiffany's, I created small website with information on Truman Capote.
The OSI Model
The OSI Model is a networking structure that we, as a group, studied in Computer Tech Training. After we were allowed time to study,
we were required to compile a PowerPoint with the knowledge of the OSI network model.
