Career Preparation
Career preparation is anything pertaining to the learning of skills which can advance a student in the real world. There have been many projects and assignments which have helped to further the students career preparatory skills.
The first piece of evidence I choose for career preparation was a project entitled future plan in my Political Studies course. It was about what future goals and aspirations you had within the next ten years of your life. This included how much you would make, demographics, education, marital status, etc. I chose this because I feel that it really helps to put things into perspective and help a lot with career preparation.
The second piece of evidence I chose was pertaining to my senior project. We were required to write a letter of intent explaining what our senior project idea was, how we were going to complete and by what means we were going to complete it by. I feel that writing a formal letter of intent and having to explain something while still being concise is big in career preparation to get an interview or a foot in the door.
