Curricular Literacy

Curricular literacy is the understanding of the curriculum or subject matter. This is important to all students who would want to succeed in all of their classes and fully understand the material.

The first piece of evidence I will use for curricular literacy is my second quiz for my Small Business Management class. This was the second business college course I had taken and I thoroughly enjoyed it because it pertained to so much of the world. I received an A on this quiz and feel that it is an adequate piece of evidence for curricular literacy because I really understood the business concepts and ideas.

The second piece of evidence I will use is a government test. Again, I felt like I understood government fairly well because of my business classes. I received an B on this test and feel that it is an adequate piece of evidence as well because I understood concepts, key terms and aspects of political affairs. I studied really hard for this government test and I feel that my hard work paid off.
