New Tech High takes a lot of time into making sure we are ready for the real world, constantly preparing us for the professional environment the real world operates in. It is for that reason that New Tech is constantly giving us projects that simulate the real job environment. In addition, New Tech is constantly challenging us to think about the career we might want to pursue, so that by the time we leave high school, we at least have a ‘good idea’ about what we want to do. Now as I get ready to exit New Tech, I feel more prepared for the real world and that I have been given a better direction of what I would like to do with life. I have one piece of evidence to show how I have been exposed to the real world, and that is a resume I used to apply for my internship. Mind you, this resume is not current, but it was a requirement that gave me a taste of the real job world.

My other evidence is a questionnaire I was given in my 12th grade econ class, asking me what my ideas were for the future, challenging me to think in a way that really analyzes myself.
