Personal Statement

I have spent four years at New Technology High School. Hopefully it made a difference. We all strive for improvement through our daily efforts, yet still mistakes and failures creep in. Procrastination should be avoided. Presentations should be practiced before hand and not always start with "Hi, I'm ____________ and this is my presentation on ___________!" (After four years of presentations starting like that, you start to notice it, usually by the second one.) These flaws seem like part of the universal genome of a New Tech student.

As a member of the first four year class of New Tech, I've had the experience of being a lab rat in the system. In any case, it's nice to know that those who come after us will have an overall better experience.

Improvement has always been a theme at New Tech. At the end of every project, we always have the opportunity to tell the teacher exactly how badly they messed up this time, and tell how to fix it.
