Personal Statement

I hate personal statements. I have a few hours until my portfolio is due, so I guess I
should write my statement at some point. My name is Erin Komplin, I am currently a
junior at New Tech (but if your reading this, then I guess I’m probably a senior). I
like my little pony, I like to help people and give them advice, I love lemonade and I
like to smile.

I enjoy talking about things that no one loves. Today I will educate you on my favorite
place ever… HAITI! Instead of talking about myself, everyone should learn about
how messed up this country is! However, you should definitely go and research all
about Haiti.

I don’t really want to talk about myself anymore (even though I haven’t said anything
yet). I have lived in Napa all my life, my family and friends have had a big influence
on me. I guess you can say that I have been through a lot of stuff but I take
everything as a learning experience!
