Technology literacy is just one of the 8 learning outcomes we are assessed on at New Technology High School . I personally think it is very important because it trains you to be fluent in using the machines here at NTHS and if you know how to use the machines at tech then you can use just about any computer. At New Tech High School students are required to Type at least 40 wpm (words per minute) with 90% accuracy, Students have to be Fluent in Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel. In addition to the previous content students are also required to create web pages and gather information from the Internet and a variety of technological media and use graphing calculators effectively.
