Oral Communication
Oral Communication is used mostly during presentations
where teachers, judges, and other panel memebers assess
how we speak, which includes verbal fillers, pauses, posture
and most anything else that effects us during a presentation.
This helps us improve our comfort level and fear of speaking
infront of people.
Evidence
1. Criteria StandardsThis piece of evidence was for my Cold War project
in American Studies. For this project we had to nominate
a "Great American Author" whilston the topic of blacklisting.
Attached is the outline my group and I used for our debate,
for what we thought made a "Great American Author".
On this assignment we received nearly full credit in
2. WWII PresentationOn this assignment, my
group was supposed to do research on several groups
of minorities during World War II in order to see
what really went on "behind the scenes" in the US.
For this presentation, my group really went above
and beyond to acheive a favorable grade. We had to
pitch this television series like it was a movie, and
persuade the HBO board to air our show. Our group
received nearly a 100% oral communication grade.
