Technology Literacy
This is one of the skills that is speculated to be
primarily taught at New Tech. This is usually used in digital
arts classes, and not so much core classes. Digital Media 1 & 2
tend to use this learning outcome more often, because it
pertains to those classes more-so than an English class, per se.
This is used to measure the level of skill one has with computers
and technology alike.
Evidence
1. First and foremost, I want to use this portfolio
as a peice of evidence on its own. The amount of coding
done by hand is enough to scare many away. All you see
now was done by hand using HTML, and HTML related
programs such as Dreamweaver for certain parts. If it wasnt for
New Tech, there is probably no way I could've made a
portfolio out of nothing but HTML.
2.Great American Author Website This peice of evidence
is an example of a website I made in American Studies
for the cold war project. It was based on writters and
other authors alike that were blacklisted for suspicion
of communism during that time. This is a picture of the
home page that was for the website I made.
