It is my personal privilege to author this letter of recommendation on behalf of Travis Souza.

Travis was a student in my geometry class for the fall of 2006. In geometry Travis impressed me with not only his exceptional math skills, but his dedication to the class, and passion for learning. Travis participated in several group projects in geometry, and his students found him to be a great asset and enthusiastic collaborator.

Travis was also a member of my advisory in the spring of 2007. In advisory Travis has shown sensitivity towards the feelings of others and enthusiasm for our activities. While many students in the class will often go about an activity half heartedly, Travis generally throws himself into everything we do. On one occasion, the activity of the day was to write a letter to a substitute teacher who had recently visited our school. This substitute had had a fairly negative experience with many of the students, and my advisory was not very receptive to writing her a letter. Travis' was one of the first students to submit his letter to the sub, and it was among the best I received.

Travis Souza is a fantastic young man who works hard and attacks life with a zest. He is not only considerate of others, but he goes out of his way to be helpful or resolve conflicts.
