Hello my name is Tricia McNaboe and welcome to my portfolio. I am currently in the 10th grade at new technology high school. I live in Vallejo but I go to Tech because it is such a better school. I heard about this school through a sibling. I love sports and it does kind of matter that their aren’t any sports here but I still play and are a part of a team, I play volleyball, softball and I also cheer and dance. I have been doing sports all my life and I couldn’t imagine my life without sports so I knew I had to still be a part of sports and a part of a team. I would love to get scholarship for college for sports I don’t mind which one but it wouldn’t matter just because sports are my life. Before Tech I attended a small private catholic school I was their for so long I was their during pre-school and all throughout elementary school and also for junior high I was their for nine years of my life so I knew everybody their so well they were all pretty much my family and it was really hard to leave just because mostly everyone their was going to the same high school so I felt like I was leaving my family and it was really sad because I was with them for so long that I forgot how to make new friends in a new environment so my first day at Tech I was so nervous because I didn’t know anybody. In the end I was really glad that I made the choice that I did to come here just because this better for me and to further my education.
What I want for my future is to attend UC Davis and study to become a registered nurse, and after that another goal that I have for myself is to become a pediatrician because I love kids and I really want to make a difference in children’s lives I also want to be a part of doctors without borders and provide care for people who cannot have the proper things that they need. I think that coming to tech will help with my skills with people and also it will help me get into a good college. I think that it would be harder to fulfill my goals if I went to the other high school that I was planning on going too because again it is another small high school but it was very unrecognized unlike Tech.
