Hancock Fabrics Cover Letter
Hancock Fabrics August 25, 2002 To Whom It May Concern, I am very interested in becoming a floor salesclerk at your store. I have shopped at Hancock Fabrics whenever I was creating costumes for conventions that I attend. I have learned about how to correctly attach zippers and dye different materials of clothing while visiting your store. As I am interested in costuming, I think that working at Hancock Fabrics would be a good opportunity to learn more methods of making an outfit and to learn about different fabrics. Since I have created my own outfits, I am somewhat experienced in sewing and making alterations to outfits, which will allow me to offer some advice to customers. I am also knowledgeable of the layout of the store, allowing me to provide better service to Hancock guests. I am already accustomed to interacting with people daily over the phone and in person through my job as office assistant at New Technology High School. I have been in a position of responsibility as New Technology High School's Student Store Supervisor and currently as a Visual Technician for Napa Valley Baptist Church.
