tOral Communication

Although this world is becoming more technology based and the internet is filled with all the information you want there is one quality that will always be in need and that is effective oral communication. New Technology High School has taught me the importance of this communication threw many projects and presentations that were required to be presented in front of and audience. These presentations helped me hone my oral communication skills into an effective and commanding tool in getting things done or people motivated.

I ran for a position in the ASB government. I went from a representative in 11th grade to the president in 12th. This took more than being popular; it took effective public speaking skills to get you message across. Also as an ASB representative you had to communicate what the people who you were represented wanted.

Through out my attending New Tech High I have developed my oral communication skills. The presentation in class, the promotion of the school to recruit at other schools has helped me become a better speaker. I have come far enough to be elected as the Senior Speaker for graduation.
