Student Activities

New Tech High offers a variety of clubs and organizations, some formally recognized, others more informal. The unifying factor is that all are student-created and student-driven. Students started the school paper, The Vision, for example, just this year, with Publications teacher Carole Toy as its advisor. A student committee is in charge of the Quad Project, and another group is devoted to environmental activities. On the unofficial side, there's an impassioned group of foosball players. Friday Night Live, the district-wide recreation organization, sponsors off-campus trips and dances. Some of our activities are:
