New Technology High School: Napa

Welcome to Napa, California!

New Technology High School (NTHS) is a WASC Accredited High School, U.S. and State Department of Education Demonstration Site, the California Model for the Digital High School Initiative and a designated New American High School. Since 1996, we have hosted over 5,600 visitors, including international, national and state educators, business, government and organizational leaders, parents, students and VIP's. We are pleased that you will be attending a scheduled One-Hour General Tour or One-Day Institute. It is strongly recommended that you make your reservation ahead of time to avoid disappointment upon arriving at NTHS without a reservation. Please check-in at the New Technology Foundation office located at 1040 Main Street.
Once you have registered at New Technology Foundation, your group will be escorted to New Technology High School by one of the Tours New Tech student volunteers.
For the comfort and security of our students, hand-held, video or digital cameras, and tape recorders are not permitted inside the school.
Please stay with the TNT Guides during the tour. Your cooperation is appreciated as classes are in session.
Feel free to ask the TNT Guides questions as they lead you through NTHS. This group of students is responsible for organizing and leading the tours and are prepared for any questions that come their way.
You may park in the school parking lot, but please, first check-in at the New Technology Foundation office located at 1040 Main Street. Our phone number is (707) 253-6951.

From the San Francisco Airport: driving time approximately 1 hour, 30 min.

Coming out of the Airport Terminal, take the US-101 N/ I-380 W ramp towards San Francisco.
Merge onto US-101 North
Take I-80 East towards BAY BRIDGE/OAKLAND
Merge onto I-80 East
Continue East on I-80 to Highway 37 at Napa/Columbus Pkwy. exit.
Go West on Highway 37 (towards Napa) to Highway 29.
Go North on Highway 29 and exit at Lincoln Avenue.
Go East on Lincoln to the third stoplight and turn right on Main Street.
Follow Main Street to Yount Street and turn left on Yount Street.
New Technology High School (920 Yount Street) will be on your left.

From Oakland Airport: driving time approximately 1 hour, 15 minutes

Coming out of the passenger terminal at Oakland International Airport, turn left onto Airport Drive.
Turn right onto Hegenberger Road.
Take the I-880 North ramp towards downtown Oakland.
Merge onto I-880 North.
I-880 North becomes I-80.
Continue East on I-80 to Napa/Columbus Parkway exit. (Hwy 37)
Follow Highway 37 going towards Napa to Highway 29.
Go North on Highway 29 and exit at Lincoln Avenue.
Go East on Lincoln to the third stoplight and turn right on Main Street.
Follow Main Street to Yount Street and turn left on Yount Street.
New Technology High School (920 Yount Street) will be on your left.

From Sacramento Airport: driving time approximately 1 hour, 20 minutes

Exit the airport on Airport Blvd.
Take the I-5 North ramp towards WOODLAND
Merge onto I-5 North
Take the Main Street exit in Woodland.
Turn left onto East Main Street.
Go under the freeway and take the CA-113 South ramp towards Davis.
113 merges with I-80 WEST towards San Francisco.
Continue West on I-80 and exit on Highway 12 to Napa.
Follow Highway 12 going West to Highway 29.
Go North on Highway 29 and exit at Lincoln Avenue.
Go East on Lincoln to the third stoplight and turn right on Main Street.
Follow Main Street to Yount Street and turn left on Yount Street.
New Technology High School (920 Yount Street) will be on your left.
