This web portfolio is designed to let you know more about me and my various accomplishments during my high school career. This web portfolio has been in progress since the start of my Junior Year in 1998 at New Technology High School.

To the right are the learning outcomes that I have displayed along with additional information about me. Here is a brief description of each section to help you find your way around this portfolio easier. Remember to just click on my name in the top left hand corner to return to this page at any time.

LEARNING OUTCOMES:

Technology Literacy: Technology Literacy displays my technical knowledge and ability to learn and adapt to new technologies. This outcome displays my ability to complete technology related tasks which will improve my job performance.

Citizenship and Ethics: Citizenship and ethics displays my personal contribution to the community.

Critical Thinking: Critical thinking displays my good thinking and problem solving skills that will help me contribute to solutions on the job. This is proof of my ability to think analytically and creatively, use logical reasoning, and interpret information. It also displays my ability to recognize a problem and identify the relevant facts, identify and gather information needed to solve a problem, and evaluate and select the information to consider solutions to the problem.

Career Preparation: This section displays my responsibility, self discipline and time management. It displays my willingness to follow directions, take on tasks and responsibilities and complete a task even when I know it is difficult. It also displays my adapt to change and apply my knowledge.

Collaboration: The skills of collaboration include those in leadership, following, and teamwork. The skills also entail resolving conflicts, negotiating, sharing responsibilities, accepting supervision and assuming leadership roles.

Written Communication: This section displays my ability to write effectively using good sentence structure, revise what I have written to improve clarity and the organization of ideas, and understand who the reader is and communicate written ideas effectively to my audience.

Oral Communication: Oral communication involves anticipating the previous knowledge of my audience and providing the information that they need, speaking clearly to convey my ideas to others and introducing them in a logical order, and also using audio/visual aids to enhance my message.

Curricular Literacy: This is my overall understanding of subject matter that I have learned.

PORTFOLIO:

Personal Statement: A brief introduction that describes who I am and some of the goals and future plans that I have in my life.

Resume: The resume displays important evidence of my career preparation skills. This area also shows a background of my jobs and the pertinent classes I have taken. A printable PDF file of the resume is also available.

Letters of Recommendation: Here are various letters of recommendation from my teachers, employer, and counselor. These letters show how others feel about me, my work, and my performance in various different ways.
