In September 2000, I was awarded Student of the Month for New Technology High School. I was recognized before the education board for my academic achievements, and also for my citizenship and service to my school and community.

I was honored to receive this award because of my ethics at school. I have worked hard to be involved in NTHS, being involved in ASB, and Model United Nations. Vallerga's chose me to receive their character award because I have good work ethic and show citizenship at school.
