It is with great pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation on behalf of Kirstin Kjar. As President of the New Technology High School Associated Student Body, I have had the opportunity of knowing Kirstin inside and outside of a professional environment, I have known Kirstin for the past two years during her time at New Technology and feel qualified to write this recommendation.
About a year ago Kirstin took a big step in declaring her candidacy for Student Body elections, I had always thought of her as introverted and I had not expected her to take such a risk as this. This willingness to take such a risk assured me that she would be a great addition to the Student Government. Kirstin displayed an eagerness to participate in committees and assist others any way she could, she quickly emerged as a leader amongst her peers.
In the duration of her service to the Student Government Kirstin continually proved to me and others that she is a bright, hardworking, dedicated student who is currently in the process of completing a rigorous academic program while participating in extra-curricular activities. As an individual, she routinely demonstrated exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills. She has been instrumental in organizing our student government, numerous times I have called on her for help to pull together a committee or to make sure things were going as planned and in every occasion she delivered beyond my expectations.
Kirstin’s work ethic and drive are among the most admirable I have seen in a fellow student. Perhaps Kirstin’s greatest asset is her proven ability to get the job done. Kirstin developed as a leader who leads by example, a gracious and beautiful young woman before my very eyes in the two years I have known her. I am sure she will succeed in anything she attempts, Kirstin receives my recommendation whole-heartedly.
