Welcome!  I feel that a quick explanation is necessary before you continue to explore my portfolio.

To start with, I'd like to discuss the interface. Over my two year career at New Technology High School, I went through over two dozen interfaces before coming to this one. They all had many different looks and feels, and if I were still a student there I'm sure that I would go through dozens of other interfaces as well. This one is fairly simple, but I am content with it. The images that you will see change at the top of these pages as you navigate through them as well as the images that you should have seen in the Flash intro before coming to this page are images of me and my best friends, most of whom I've known for 5-8 years (as of 2001). These are people whom I have shared many years of schooling with, as well as all aspects of my life, and I felt that they deserved a place in my portfolio as well. Many of the images are from a trip that we took to San Francisco on March 31 in celebration of Alexandria Brown's 18th birthday (that's why we're wearing the same clothes in most of the pictures). You can find more pictures in the Photo Gallery section, which also contains captions explaining the pictures and introducing the people. (Note:  The images for the menu are all large files because I didn't want to lose image quality. I'm sorry if you're viewing this on a low-bandwidth machine, because it'll take a while to load the large images at the top).

The order in which I put the links in the navigation above is basically the order that I believe would be the best to view the different sections of my portfolio. The Personal Statement section is the actual introduction into my portofolio, and the Photo Gallery and Me sections are just personal touches that I felt like including.  At any point if you want to come back to this page, click on the Leo 2001 section of the image at the top. You also may notice that some of the text becomes washed out when it is over certain images. Try as I might, I couldn't find any text colour that both looked good, and also would not get washed out in at least one particular picture.  Because of that, I stuck with white text. Hopefully you will be able to navigate despite this small problem.

New Technology High School was a great learning experience for me. It provided me with a greater outlook on life and it opened me up to many opportunities I never thought that I would have. My two years there have been two of the greatest years of my life, and I'm sure that as a result of my attendence there I will have many more great opportunities awaiting me down the road.

I've probably babbled enough, so I would suggest that you begin to explore my portfolio, starting with my Personal Statement.  Thank you.
