Collaboration

The skills of collaboration include those in leadership, following, and teamwork. The skills also entail resolving conflicts, negotiating, sharing responsibilities, accepting supervision and assuming leadership roles. At NTHS you are given the opportunity to work on projects with other students.  Below are quotes from a fellow peers who has worked with me in a project based learning atmosphere.

Example 1:

In the class Political Studies an assignment was given called “Fairy Story” this was a group project and the students had to work together to create a utopian society and present their ideas with a short play, movie or even a puppet show.  Below you will see two of the collaboration scores given to me by my peers from this project.

Example 2:

Begin able to work in a group of your peers is an excellent skill to have.  I have worked on many projects with my peers below you will see a collaboration score given to me by one of my group members from the project entitled “President’s Dilemma.”  This project was designed to teach students about monetary and fiscal polices.  Each group was supposed to draft monetary and fiscal policies to solve national debt, then present their ideas to a panel of judges.
