Technology Literacy shows my technical knowledge and my ability to
learn and hot to adapt to new technologies. This outcome displays the ability
to complete technology related tasks, which will improve my job performance.
I am proficient in Microsoft
Word, Microsoft Excel, as well as Microsoft Power Point; I am Proficient in
the design program Adobe photo shop version 6.0 and the web design and
building program Adobe Go live version 5.0.
I have some knowledge of the web building and design program Dream
weaver. Evidence Of
Learning Outcome: Example 1 The Web site that
you are now viewing is a multimedia project this website is an example of how
I was able to master several programs and compile them all together so that I
could post them upon our web server for your viewing pleasure. Example 2: Visual aides and
graphics not only enhance any presentation that you create but they also can
be lovely pieces of art as well. This
piece of Artwork is a picture that I designed digitally for my own artistic
pleasure. I feel that it shows my taste in art design as well as my abilities
to apply design theory with my choice ability layout and color schemes.
Example 3: One of the required
classes that students are supposed to take at NTHS is New Media. This class
is tailored to give students the tools that they need to complete their
projects as well as their professional portfolio. New Media teaches web design as well as visual design, color
theory and design layout to enable the students to produce qualities projects
and assignments. Below you will see
the digital certificate I was awarded in the class for
Example 4: One
of the classes that was offered to students at NTHS was the ROP Computer
Applications course. This course
was designed to teach students advanced technology programs that are used in
everyday business environments.
Skills gained in this course are directly related to the business
world. In this course you are tested
in your typing abilities, your abilities to use Microsoft Word, Excel and
Power point. Below you will view the
