Content Literacy

Last year I recieved a Golden State Exam Academic Excellence award for U.S. History. This proves that I learned the U.S. History curriculum required by the state of California. I know that I worked hard in my history class and learned a lot from the various project, but it was still nice to get an award.

Example 1

Last year I got an award for being on the honor roll. The second semester of my junior year I got a 4.0 grade point average. This was the first time in my high school career that my grades were that high. Being on the honor roll shows that I worked hard and performed well in all of my classes. I was proud of myself for accomplishing this goal.
