Before You Visit

New Technology High School (NTHS) is a WASC Accredited High School, U.S. and State Department of Education Demonstration Site, the California Model for the Digital High School Initiative and a designated New American High School. Since 1996, we have hosted over 15,000 visitors, including international, national and state educators, business, government and organizational leaders, parents, students and VIP’s.

We thank you for following these important reminders:

• Photography is permitted on campus, please remain respectful of our learning environment
• Please stay with the student tour guides during the tour. Your cooperation is appreciated as classes are in session.
• Feel free to ask the student tour guides questions as they lead you through NTHS. The group of students responsible for organizing and leading the tours are prepared for any questions that come their way.
• You may park in the school parking lot or there is on street parking surrounding the school.

Directions

From the San Francisco Airport: driving time approximately 1 hour, 30 min.

Coming out of the Airport Terminal, take the US-101 N/ I-380 W ramp towards San Francisco.
Merge onto US-101 North
Take I-80 East towards BAY BRIDGE/OAKLAND
Merge onto I-80 East
Continue East on I-80 to Highway 37 at Napa/Columbus Pkwy. exit.
Go West on Highway 37 (towards Napa) to Highway 29.
Go North on Highway 29 and exit at Lincoln Avenue.
Go East on Lincoln to the third stoplight and turn right on Main Street.
Follow Main Street to Yount Street and turn left on Yount Street.
New Technology High School (920 Yount Street) will be on your left.

 

From Oakland Airport: driving time approximately 1 hour, 15 minutes

Coming out of the passenger terminal at Oakland International Airport, turn left onto Airport Drive.
Turn right onto Hegenberger Road.
Take the I-880 North ramp towards downtown Oakland.
Merge onto I-880 North.
I-880 North becomes I-80.
Continue East on I-80 to Napa/Columbus Parkway exit. (Hwy 37)
Follow Highway 37 going towards Napa to Highway 29.
Go North on Highway 29 and exit at Lincoln Avenue.
Go East on Lincoln to the third stoplight and turn right on Main Street.
Follow Main Street to Yount Street and turn left on Yount Street.
New Technology High School (920 Yount Street) will be on your left.

 

From Sacramento Airport: driving time approximately 1 hour, 20 minutes

Exit the airport on Airport Blvd.
Take the I-5 North ramp towards WOODLAND
Merge onto I-5 North
Take the Main Street exit in Woodland.
Turn left onto East Main Street.
Go under the freeway and take the CA-113 South ramp towards Davis.
113 merges with I-80 WEST towards San Francisco.
Continue West on I-80 and exit on Highway 12 to Napa.
Follow Highway 12 going West to Highway 29.
Go North on Highway 29 and exit at Lincoln Avenue.
Go East on Lincoln to the third stoplight and turn right on Main Street.
Follow Main Street to Yount Street and turn left on Yount Street.
New Technology High School (920 Yount Street) will be on your left.
